Sky Valley is an unincorporated rural community in Southern California's low desert.  Along with the communities of Desert Edge and Indio Hills, Sky Valley occupies the valley between the Indio Hills (the San Andreas Fault) and the Little San Bernardino Mountains (Joshua Tree National Park).   Most Sky Valley citizens live on 5-acre parcels. See a map of Sky Valley HERE

The Sky Valley Homeowners Association is not a typical HOA like the ones you'll find inside gated communities. We're an informal, unincorporated group that doesn't answer to any organization. Our Purpose is:

"To preserve our rural, peaceful way of life, and to prevent urbanization"

This does not mean we are opposed to progress!  We just want progress to come at a manageable pace. We are opposed to any zone changes that would allow medium to high density housing with all its attendant problems. We support orderly development on a low density basis.

Our General Membership meetings are held third Thursdays, 7PM, at the Sky Valley Community Center in February, April, June, September, and November, and are happy examples of good fellowship.  Join Us!  Don’t worry if you aren’t the sort who attends meetings.   Homeowners is for anybody who wants to count in the effort to protect Sky Valley from rapid overdevelopment.   Just having your name on our roster is a big help.

We welcome new members, so whether you enjoy our meetings, or just want to support our goals, please join and support YOUR organization!
